And I was pondering this whilst reading Grendel (yes, it does have something to do w/ Grendel... actually a lot to do w/ Grendel): Is a lie still a lie after it becomes the truth? Like, say.... a person who's sorta bugging you asks if you want to got to the movies next Saturday, and you lie and say you have to go to your grandma's birthday party that day, and therefore can't go. But then it turns out that your grandma's party does in fact get scheduled for next Saturday. So is it still a lie? I mean, yes you lied when you were actullay telling them, but now you will actually be at your grandma's party like you said you would. Opinions?
